Face Reading

I thought it would be interesting to compare the face reading of President Bush with a reading of President Ahmadinejad of Iran since they seem to be at odds with each other on the world stage. I did an analysis of the eyebrow last, so let’s look at the ears.

Everyone has an amount of information that they are comfortable taking in at one time. Those with long ears have loads of listening ability. They can soak information fast – and lots of it. Those with short ears might not take in as much information, but the information they do take in is important to them. They can easily become overloaded but they can use the information very effectively.

President Bush and President Ahmadinejad both qualify for the long ear category but President Ahmadinejad has longer ears comparatively. Both President Bush and President Ahmadinejad can take in lots of information quickly but President Ahmadinejad is probably a little quicker.

Ears can be mounted high on the head and low. It’s amazing the variety. High ear people process information fast. Low ear people evaluate information completely before using it. Both President Bush and President Ahmadinejad have low mounted ears. They will evaluate information at length before making a decision, but once the decision is made, that’s it. There is no second guessing and no turning back.

The amount the ear flares out from the head is an indication of how one will deal with social conformity. Both President Bush and President Ahmadinejad show an ability to think and act “outside the box” but not to an extreme.

Tune in for the next installment. I’ll talk about how President Bush and President Ahmadinejad approach reality.

Eyebrows.

I thought it would be interesting to compare the face reading of President Bush with a reading of President Ahmadinejad of Iran since they seem to be at odds with each other on the world stage. I’ll start with the eyebrow.

The distribution of hair in an eyebrow will show us the flow of enthusiasm when the owner takes on a new project. Eyebrows are thought of as beginning near the center of the face and ending at the outside of the face, so if there is a lot of hair at the beginning, the person will be one who is quick to take on a new project. Many people have eyebrows that thin out half way to the end and Rose Rosetree in her book The Power of Face Reading points out that such a person will typically lose interest half way through a project. Find a photo of G. W. Bush and you can see that he has an eyebrow trait of quick enthusiasm for projects but starting to cool, (at least somewhat), about half way through. On the other hand, notice Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He has almost the same trait except his enthusiasm would typically last somewhat longer.

In the persistence category I would give President Ahmadinejad a slight edge of President Bush, but not by much.

The amount of hair in the eyebrow is an indication of the amount of details a person can handle at a time. Lots of hair indicates a person that can think of lots of things at the same time and keep it all straight. Low hair density indicates a person that does better with simplicity but can be very intense.

In the “handling details” category I would definitely give the edge to President Ahmadinejad although President Bush is no slouch here either. President Bush probably has the ability to develop more intensity even though President Ahmadinejad’s overall facial appearance appears more intense. This is a good example of how face reading can sort out subtle personally details.

Both show an eyebrow shape that indicates managerial detachment and a talent for intellectual curiosity. The slight angle in President Bush’s left brow and both brows of President Ahmadinejad indicate that managerial detachment shown by many people in supervisorial role.

Both have straightness to their brow shape that indicates dealing with life with logic and ideas. Neither have a curve to their brows that would indicate dealing with life with feelings.
President Bush has brows that are mounted low meaning that he is compelled to talk about his ideas. President Ahmadinejad has brows that are mid-mounted indicating that he will talk about his ideas but, emotionally, he can choose the time and place.

Both have hair in their brows that is in an even flow from beginning to end meaning that their thoughts flow smoothly without contradiction or spurious side issues. In other words, these two people are straight-ahead types.

Both men show start-up hair, President Bush a large amount on his left brow – his private side – and President Ahmadinejad a small amount on his right side – his public side. This would indicate both men have intellectual thoughts and ideas about a new project at a very early stage … earlier that most people around them.
